Meet the Team

  • Ashley

    Ashley is the owner and founder of Ashley Pet Nursing, bringing over 10 years of experience in the veterinary field and a deep passion for providing compassionate, personalized care to pets and their families. Throughout her career, Ashley spent four years working in emergency medicine, where she gained valuable experience caring for animals during some of their most critical moments.

    Ashley has a special interest in animal behavior and hospice care for senior pets. She believes every animal deserves patience, understanding, and comfort, especially during their golden years. Her goal is to make veterinary care as stress-free and convenient as possible by bringing professional, compassionate care directly to your home.

    When she’s not working, Ashley enjoys spending quality time with her family and making memories with the people she loves most.

    Fun Fact: Ashley has a huge soft spot for Golden Retrievers! These lovable, goofy companions hold a special place in her heart.

  • Josh

    Josh brings years of hands-on animal care experience and a genuine love for pets of all kinds to the Ashley Pet Nursing team! He has worked with Brandywine Valley SPCA for many years, and you may recognize him from VCA Kirkwood Animal Hospital, where he was responsible for overseeing the boarding department for over three years.

    With his experience, patience, and dedication to animal care, Josh provides dependable, compassionate overnight care to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own home while their families are away.

    When he’s not caring for animals, Josh enjoys playing video games and spending time with his three dogs and cats.

    Fun Fact: Josh has a special place in his heart for Dalmatians and blind or special-needs pets! He loves giving these unique pets the extra attention, patience, and care they deserve.
